The Tribe Of Alberta (paperback)

Floppy is no ordinary chicken. Found in a mysterious egg by Henny and Rooster Chicken, he grows up in the Colorado mountains believing he is just a curious, four-legged bird with floppy ears. Life at Chicken School is not easy, and Floppy struggles with teasing from classmates who cannot see beyond his unusual appearance. When an unexpected danger arises, Floppy discovers a hidden strength that surprises everyone, including himself. His courage changes the way his peers see him and lays the foundation for new friendships. These moments prepare him for an even greater discovery: he is not a chicken but a baby dinosaur. Meeting his dinosaur siblings and parents opens the door to a world he never imagined, where family is bigger than biology and love extends beyond boundaries. As Floppy navigates new adventures with his blended family, each day brings excitement, playful discovery, and lessons about trust, bravery, and acceptance. ‘Floppy The Dinosaur Chicken’ celebrates the joy of being oneself and the warmth of belonging, offering young readers a story full of humor, heart, and unforgettable moments.
